925 STERLING SILVER
925 sterling silver is the purest form of silver used in jewelry making. It is an alloy of 92.5% silver and 7.5% alternative metals for reinforcement. Silver jewelry from Gavero is crafted from sterling silver and plated with rhodium for a finish.

GENERAL CARE TIPS
Jewelry should be the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off. Below are some jewelry care tips to help you protect your precious jewelry.
Chemicals (found in hairspray, perfume, hand sanitizers and lotions) can damage plated jewelry. Always make sure you apply these agents first and allow them to dry before putting on your jewelry, as the alcohol, moisture, and chemicals in these agents can cause color loss.
And remember to remove your jewelry before gardening, strenuous exercise, and any water-related activities like swimming and water sports, as most metals and natural pearls react with chlorine, moisture, and sweat.
At the end of the day, wipe your jewelry with a soft cloth. Regular wiping with a jewelry polishing cloth prevents dirt build-up, removes light tarnish and prevents re-tarnishing, helping your jewelry retain its original shine and sparkle longer.
To remove dirt from rhodium-plated or gold-plated jewelry, soak it in lukewarm, clean water with a small amount of PH-neutral soap. Rinse well to remove any mineral residue and immediately wipe dry with a soft cloth.
In addition, to avoid scratches, it is important to store jewelry separately and safely, preferably in the original box or in a jewelry box with separate compartments, when not in use.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can I go swimming with the jewellery?
No, we recommend removing jewelry before bathing, showering, taking a sauna or going to the solarium. Steam, moisture, and fragrances and chemicals in soaps and shampoos can tarnish and dull materials.
Can I wear my jewelry while exercising?
We recommend removing jewelry before exercising. Sweat and the alcohol in deodorants and sanitizers can react with the metals, pearls or stones, causing color loss and dullness. Chlorine and salt can also tarnish metals, so avoid wearing your jewelry while swimming. There is also a risk that the piece of jewelry will be damaged if it is worn during physical activity.
How often should I clean my jewelry?
You should clean your jewelry that you wear daily about once a week and other jewelry in your jewelry box about once a month.
How can I fix the clasp on my earrings?
Earrings may become difficult to close if the clasp is bent during use. This is easily remedied by gently pushing the latch, either up or down, so that it snaps back into place.
